Dr. Silva, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental space where children, adolescents, and families feel supported. She has experience in conducting comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations with diverse populations and addressing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorders, and challenges in emotional, behavioral, social, and academic functioning.
Dr. Silva earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University and received
clinical training at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and various community mental health centers. She completed her doctoral internship at Citrus Health Network, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both primary care and behavioral health settings. She later completed her postdoctoral residency in private practice. Dr. Silva has clinical training with integrating evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy (SFT). She applies an individualized approach to each client’s unique needs and background, helping them build on their strengths with compassion.

Dr. Silva’s therapeutic approach is guided by warmth, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. She is
dedicated to providing culturally responsive and inclusive care that honors each client’s
individuality and unique journey. Dr. Silva has experience working with clients across the
lifespan with a range of presenting concerns and disorders. She is bilingual in English and
Spanish and prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships. Dr. Silva views therapy as a
collaborative process that fosters growth, strengthens coping skills, and cultivates resilience.
Through her practice, Dr. Silva aims to encourage a sense of calm, empowerment, and overall
well-being.
