Brooke Zalis, MS
Brooke is a registered mental health counselor intern. She received her Master’s in
Clinical Mental Health Counseling from FAU. She completed her practicum and
internship at the Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, where she worked with
individuals, families, and groups.
Brooke specializes in helping individuals work through life transitions; she assists in reducing anxiety and depression by developing coping skills. She enjoys working with
individuals of all ages. She has experience facilitating group therapy sessions in schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as a senior group for advanced aging. Brooke’s diverse experience has provided her with the knowledge and tools to help a range of populations and presenting concerns.
Brooke uses a collaborative and eclectic approach to therapy with evidence-based
practices such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational
Interviewing. Brooke works with clients to create a new relationship with their thoughts
and emotions, and lead a value-driven life to create more meaning and fulfillment in their
work, relationships, family, spirituality, and other aspects of their lives.
