Macy Rodriguez, M.S.
Ms. Macy is a registered mental health counseling intern, specializing in infant mental health. She earned her Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2019. Her clinical experience includes community-based treatment centers working with a wide array of behavioral disorders, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management and trauma. She utilizes evidence-based best practices, such as, EMDR, Play-Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Prior to her mental health career, Ms. Macy was a Physical Education and Science teacher, which further developed her passion for working with children and focusing on prevention and health. Ms. Macy therapeutic approach includes parents and families in the treatment process. She also works with new parents, provides postpartum support, and parenting skills in private sessions and groups.
