Brenna Iyampillai, MS
Brenna is a registered mental health counselor. She earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Therapy from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is a member of the ACA, American Counseling Association. Brenna completed an internship as a mental health therapist at the Faulk Center for Counseling in Boca Raton, Florida. Her training and professional experiences have provided her a wide range of therapeutic knowledge in working with groups, individuals, and families, as well as to clients of all ages. Brenna also specializes in therapeutic treatment for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and who have experienced trauma.
Additionally, Brenna offers child therapy that is collaborative with parents, integrating parenting session and throughout the course of treatment to further assist families progress out side of treatment. Brenna's therapeutic approach is working alongside clients, offering a caring heart, a listening ear, and evidence-based counseling services for individuals, families, and couples.
Brenna utilizes evidence based treatments, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She helps clients break free from old negative patterns and implement healthier coping mechanisms. Brenna also has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Brenna's uses a collaborative and integrative processes, teaching useful and sustainable skills for self-care and self-love to assist in the development of inner peace and emotional well-being.
